Sprint triathlon
June 22nd, Sunday, triathlon
race for Alpe – Adria Reebok Cup, in the town Zaprešić, near the small lake
"Zajarki" will take place. It will count towards the
Croatian triathlon Championship in sprint triathlon distance and Slovenian
Championship for Under 18 category.
Along
with the triathlon competition the relay race and IRON KID (200 m – 8 km – 2
km) will also take place.
Approaching
from Zagreb: (on a highway from Karlovac in direction of Maribor and Krapina) at
the entrance of Zaprešić turn left just after the rail-road cross.
Approaching
from Slovenia: (state border Dobova-Harmica) turn right just before the rail-road
cross.

COMPETITION SYSTEM
SWIMMING
Ø
event will take place at the small lake "Zajarki"
Ø
lap length: one square of 750 m
Ø
water temperature is expected to be near 25°C
CYCLING
Ø
transition zone is placed at the parking place of the restaurant of the
Fishermen's club "Šaran", wherefrom the cycling section starts
Ø
lap length: 1 lap of 20 km Zaprešić – Pojatno – Kupljenovo – Zaprešić
Ø
the road will be partially closed so every competitor must drive at the
right side of the road
Ø
drafting is allowed
RUNNING
Ø
lap length: 2 laps of 2500 m around the small lake and approaching
roads
Ø
the road is plane and partly asphalt
PRIZE FOND: 30 000 kn (4 000 €)
(prizes
will be: shirts for every contestant, sponsor's goods in the money value,
medals for first three in each category and a cup for absolute first 3).
Reebok
prizes will be divided as follows:
1. = 4 000 kn (550 €)
2. = 2 000 kn (250 €)
3. = 1 000 kn (150 €)
4. – 10. = 500 kn (70 €)
11. – 70. = 200 kn (18€)
