Dear athletes!

On Saturday, July 17, another great triathlon event will be staged in Austria,
"Turracherhöhe", which is located at the border between the provinces Styria
and Carinthia at 1763m altitude.

The race will an off-road triathlon with mountainbikes, the courses are 750m
for the swim, 18km MTB and 5,5km for the run.

A true challenge is to be expected!
The swim follows a triangle course over 1 lap of 750m. The water
quality is excellent, the lake not very warm, therefore wetsuits are allowed.

 The MTB trail is demanding, though leading over trekking paths and
not too narrow. A difference in altitude of 100m in each of the 4 laps has to
be managed.  The running course leads round the lake and is to a greater extent
flat.

The race can be done individually (prize money of 2000?) or as a relay.
Austria s Olympic team will take part in the relay race!

Program:
Friday, 16.7. from 4pm: issue of race numbers, race briefing, pasta
party, opening and fireworks Saturday, 17.7.: 2pm start, 5pm victory ceremony
 Sunday, 18.7.: 9am fun events (breakfast run, nordic walking)

TV will be present and will feature the race prominently .
